This portion will be matched by the Jeannine Deveau Educational Equity Endowment adding an additional $500,000 to the endowment. The other half will support students from Atlantic Canada through entrance awards to support students who demonstrate leadership ability, contribute to their community, and have financial need.

To create five new scholarships at the Frank McKenna School of Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

A 3:1 matching gift challenge led to $1.28M being raised for the new Lighthouse shelter and community hub with the foundation contributing over $900K. The funds will also support the long-term sustainability of the new community hub’s operations and services.
