Suzanne Duncan is a seasoned philanthropy executive with over 20 years of experience helping organizations maximize their impact.

Suzanne has a proven track record of connecting visionary donors to innovative projects and driving significant fundraising growth. At KCI, she leverages her deep understanding of donor experience, campaign strategy, and organizational development to provide strategic guidance to clients, enabling them to achieve their philanthropic goals and advance their missions.

Most recently, Suzanne served as the Vice President of Philanthropy at the Canadian Women’s Foundation, where she helped advance gender justice by connecting donor support to grassroots organizations. In this role, she significantly improved fundraising results and helped launch the globally recognized “Signal for Help” campaign, which successfully leveraged public education for monthly donor acquisition. Suzanne also spent nine years at the CAMH Foundation, where she raised over $39 million for major mental health initiatives. There, she also curated impactful donor experiences to demonstrate the power of giving.

Suzanne is passionate about helping organizations achieve their full philanthropic potential. She is a trusted advisor to mission-driven organizations seeking to create lasting social change.

CHARITABLE INTERESTS:

Suzanne is actively involved in the non-profit community and enjoys supporting grassroots and community-led organizations. She is on the Board of Expect Theatre, which produces PlayMe, an award-winning podcast series that turns Canadian plays into audio fiction. Formerly, she served on the Board of The Redwood Shelter, was VP of Education for Association of Fundraising Professionals of Greater Toronto and was part of the Gala Committee for The ArQuives, the largest independent LGBTQ2+ archives in the world.
