Through a strategic partnership with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, the funds will be distributed directly to municipalities to support their efforts to assist their most vulnerable residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This commitment was split between Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Grand River Hospital, St. Mary’s General Hospital and the South Bruce Grey Health Centre to support the hospitals’ COVID-19 response funds.

This is a matching gift, and will support the expansion of the hospital’s COVID-19 testing capacity.

In response to COVID-19, this commitment will support vulnerable populations through more than 50 shelters and food banks across
Ontario.

To purchase over 330 iPads with data plans to distribute to SHA long-term care homes across the province.

To purchase a piece of medical equipment called a “C-Arm” to be used in tandem with the recently-acquired second specialized hip surgery table at Penticton Regional Hospital.

This is a matching gift to help the National Ballet weather lost revenues due to COVID-19.

This support is in response to COVID-19 and will be delivered through a $100,000 Community Relief Fund. Interior Savings has also introduced a new Community Impact Term Deposit. Members who invest in a one-year term will receive a 2% return on their investment and Interior Savings will add a matching two per cent to its Community Relief Fund, up to another $50,000.

This commitment will help food banks across British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan respond to increased demand due to COVID-19.

In response to the recent shooting tragedy in Nova Scotia as well as COVID-19, Manulife is donating $50,000 to to the Canadian Red Cross Stronger Together Nova Scotia Fund to meet immediate and longer-term needs of families and communities devastated by this event, and $50,000 to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia to provide access to programs during isolation measures related to COVID-19.

To support the hospital’s Pediatric Emergency Mental Heath Fund, to help children struggling with mental illness during COVID-19 through remote services provided throughout Quebec, including northern Cree and Inuit communities.
